Hello! I appreciate the time you take to look through profiles for the right fit in your therapy experience. Therapy can be extremely helpful with the right connection and healing for multiple areas of a person's life. Holistic healing is an important part of a person's journey in ensuring that they are receiving help in every area that is needed.
As a Student Intern of Marriage and Family Therapy, I have focused my time practicing Narrative and Collaborative Therapy with individuals, couples, and families. Both of these therapies dig into the story around the problem and helps establish a good relationship between the therapist and client. While establishing the story, I can slowly work on cognition, behavior, and emotions. This can create sessions that will be safe spaces for feelings and patterns of thought.
I have adapted a trauma informed
approach that can help with:
- divorce
- grief
- hard life transitions
- anxiety
- depression
- integrating therapy values into real life
- relational issues
- histories of emotional and physical abuse
A little about me:
I reside in Northern Florida with two sweet and spunky cats. I love an array of hobbies including singing, piano, aerial silks, outdoor adventures, and arts and crafts. I am currently converting to "tiny" life to really capture more experiences to enjoy in my life. I have a history of working with ages two years old and up, in multiple sectors of life. My current experience has been working as a Registered Behavioral Technician, implementing multiple techniques of ABA therapy with clients while in school to become a Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Southern New Hampshire University as well.
We have other Marriage & Family Therapy Assoicates and graduate students that are seeing clients at other locations.
